Diet Pills

Fat and Carb Blocking Pills
It sounds perfect: you can pop a pill, and then eat whatever you want! Diet pills such as Alli claim to block any fats or carbohydrates from being absorbed into your system. Read the fine print, however, and you will learn that this drug’s side effects include: severe gas, stomach cramps, chronic diarrhoea, and an oily anal discharge. What’s more, fat and carb blocking pills haven’t even been scientifically proven to help aid in weight loss! Seriously, if you can put up with oily anal discharge, then you can practice portion control.

Stackers
These pills usually contain a variety of the ECA formula: Ephedrine, Caffeine and Aspirin. Stackers increase your body’s temperature, which makes you burn more calories, and the caffeine acts as a stimulant which inspires the dieter to move more (i.e. exercise). Unfortunately, many dieters also experience heart palpitations, jitters, headaches and dizzy spells. And, if you don’t keep taking them, you gain the weight back!!! Not a good look.

A Better Option: Invest in a good multivitamin. When you finally lose some weight, treat yourself but do not ignore watching your weight all the time.
